“How could you be so recklessly irresponsible?” Mulan ranted angrily as she followed Aurora back towards their tent. “You should better than to run off by yourself by now. You could have gotten yourself killed.”
Aurora gritted her teeth against the pain in her ankle and continued to limp as quickly as she could back to her tent. “I didn’t run off, I went for a walk.”
“In the dark!” Mulan exclaimed in disbelief. “Have you no common sense?”
Aurora stopped and spun around near the entrance to the tent. “Yes, I do. Emma was with me.”
The blonde herself was nowhere in sight of course having run off to hide in her tent as soon as she saw the furious look on Mulan’s face. When she’d gotten back to camp with Aurora leaning heavily against her she’d barely waited for Mulan to reach them to take over the role of a crutch before she’d rushed over giving the excuse that she had to talk to Snow about something of utmost importance.
“And yet you still managed to injure yourself.” Mulan gestured towards Aurora’s swollen ankle.
Fandom: Once Upon a Time (TV)

(Hi fandom I’ve never participated in before! Watch me be horribly Jossed when the next episode airs! Always happens to me, so my apologies in advance)
Thanks for the prompt anon(s)! :)
“Wait.” Mulan gripped Aurora’s wrist and drew to a sudden halt, effectively stopping the Princess with her.
Aurora frowned at the tight grip on her wrist but after spending two months with the protective warrior she’d stopped complaining audibly about the occasional roughness Mulan accidentally incorporated into the job of keeping her safe.
“What?” Emma asked, glancing warily around. Snow and herself had been walking a few steps in front of Mulan and Aurora but they’d stopped almost as soon as Mulan had ordered them to wait.
Mulan lifted her finger to her lips, silently telling them to be quiet and released Aurora’s wrist to reach for her sword. Slowly withdrawing it from it’s sheath she took a stealthy step forward and braced herself for any kind of attack. Nothing happened however and after a few long moments of tense silence Mulan relaxed slightly, confusion covering her features.
I don’t have time to fill a proper prompt tonight so I decided to write a mini-fic from one of those posts on imagineyourotp.tumblr.com - Imagine your OTP sharing a KitKat (I’m writing this under the assumption that there IS not chocolate in FTL).
Mulan looked up as the door to their makeshift tent was pushed aside and Aurora crawled in next to her, her cheeks flush with excitement and the brisk chill of the light wind outside.
“Mulan!” Aurora exclaimed again, brushing her windswept hair out of her face. “Look what Emma gave me.” She held out a shiny red object with a grin.
Mulan pursed her lips at the mention of Emma’s name. Although she considered the blonde and her mother allies, she couldn’t help but be slightly jealous of how close Emma was getting to Aurora. Over the course of the past few weeks they’d forged a firm friendship much to Mulan’s annoyance. She was aware that she didn’t have anything to worry about as Aurora had stated on more than one occasion that she only had eye for Mulan but the warrior couldn’t help but worry. The blonde was the so called ‘saviour’ after all. The excitement on Aurora’s face prevented Mulan’s mood from souring too much however and she glanced down at the shiny red package.
“What is it?”
Thanks for the prompt anon. This is just a quick fill, I hope you don’t mind. :)
“We should check the parameter to make sure we’re not being watched.” Snow said when the group of women had finally succeeded in building a small shelter and fire. “Mulan, would you join me? Emma and Aurora, you can go and look for some food. Just don’t stray too far away.”
“Actually…” Mulan placed her hand on Aurora’s shoulder to keep her from standing. “I’d rather not leave Aurora alone.”
Aurora looked up at Mulan, torn between gratitude at the sound of the very subtle concern lacking the warriors tone and indignation because Mulan obviously still didn’t trust her to take care of herself.
“She’ll be fine, Emma will be with her.” Snow waved Mulan’s concerns off as she sheathed her sword.
“Emma?” Mulan shot the silent blonde a sceptical look. “Do I have to remind you that Emma has no idea as to how to be inconspicuous? She’s clumsier than Aurora.”
“Hey!” Emma and Aurora exclaimed in unison their tones equally affronted.

“I’m cold.” Aurora complained for what felt like the tenth time in as many minutes.
“You should have stayed near the fire like I told you to.” Mulan sniped, irritated by Aurora’s typical ‘privileged Princess whining’ as she’d come to think of it. She needed to focus completely on her surroundings and Aurora tagging along to complain about how cold she was wasn’t helping.
Aurora huffed and wrapped her arms around herself. “You wanted me to stay there by myself? You told Emma and Snow to find food, remember?”
“You could have gone with them.” Mulan said distractedly as she pushed a branch to the side. She waited for a moment for Aurora to catch up with her.
“Snow still doesn’t trust me.” Aurora frowned, coming to a stop next to Mulan.
“Do you blame them?” Mulan asked expectantly before gesturing through the gap she’d made by pushing the branch aside. “After you Princess.”
“Is that…my daughter?”
Snow started shockingly at the blonde woman lying naked on the blanket of snow in the middle of the woods, near Red’s cottage. Taking into consideration Emma’s recent development of magic she could not control, her being transported around the forest during sleep was not at all that usual. Snow had found her at various places the last few nights - the castle tower roof, the stables, the bottom of the well - but this, oh, this was something completely new.
“Who knew she could transport another person with her? That is so cool,” Red wondered out loud before looking at Snow’s completely horrified face.
“Oh my God, that is my daughter. My little Emma. On the ground. With…her! Please wake me up, Red, please. It’s a dream, right? A nightmare.”
Red’s eyes followed the movement on the ground, seeing Emma moving in her sleep and wrapping an arm around another woman’s torso. Milky skin brushed against Regina’s breasts, making her stir in her sleep. With a happy, sleepy sigh, the Saviour nuzzled the Evil Queen’s neck.
“It’s sort of hot,” Red licked her lips, lustfully looking at the two women.
They did not dare to wake them up.
Follow up to my last Sleeping Dragon/Sleeping Warrior ficlet. Guest starring Emma and Snow.
Aurora caught herself dozing off and startled awake, blinking rapidly into the darkness. She could hear Mulan behind her, sharpening her sword.
“Did you see something?” Mulan asked though her voice remained calm and she continued to sharpen the sword with rhythmic scrapes of the rock in her hand.
Aurora turned over and sat up only to find that Mulan wasn’t even looking at her. Instead her attention was fixed on the sword in her hand. “No, it was nothing.”
Mulan nodded understandingly and gave the blade one last downward scrape before she tossed the stone onto the floor and looked up in time to catch Aurora swipe a hand over her tired face. “Did I wake you?”
